Thank you for joining our St. Jerome Campus. In compliance with the Archdiocesan guidelines, please take a moment to go through the steps for “Safeguarding All of God’s Family.” This program provides training for all adults who come in contact with minors. The goal of the Safeguarding All of God’s Family program is to protect our children and all in the church family from abuse and related dangers.
The Archdiocese of Milwaukee has a partnership with Catholic Mutual Group to provide Safe Environment Education. Instructions are as follows:
If you are a new employee or first time volunteer who has not gone through the one-time training:
For those who are doing their 10-minute update/renewal (renewals are required every five years):
If you have already attended a live training session, read/signed the two documents (Code of Ethics for Church Leaders and Mandatory Reporting Responsibilities), and completed a criminal background check at some point in the past, then you only need to do a quick ~10 minute update. Please follow these steps.
1. Log into your CMG Connect account at https://milwaukee.cmgconnect.org/. Please contact the Safe Environment Coordinator if you have forgotten or misplaced your username and password and need them to be reset.
2. Once inside your account, scroll mid-way down the screen to ‘Optional Training Curriculums.’
3. Complete the first module under that heading (i.e., ‘Five Year Background Check & Code of Ethics Renewal – Safe Environment – Milwaukee’). During this module, you will re-read/re-sign the two documents and submit to a new criminal background check.
NOTE: Please proceed past the large red stop sign on the ‘Authorization’ screen. There is no charge to you for completing this module.
